Dogs bark and bite, it’s their nature. One would definitely want to know the reason. For many people, a barking dog means nothing more than just a barking dog. According to experts, there are real reasons why dogs bark. Some of them are anxiety, excitement, and boredom, to answer another bark and to mark their territory. Everything that has teeth will bite and dogs may bite out of aggression or play. According to experts, there reasons why dogs bite are antisocial behavior, fear or surprise, pain, excitement and self-protection.

Dogs bark when they are separated from their loved ones because dogs are sensitive animals. There are certain levels or tones of barking that only dog experts can tell. Dogs may bark in excitement, they get excited when they see a new face at home which can be a new dog or a new family member. Anything that does not seem normal would catch their attention. There can be times when a dog wants to play around and there are bad days when a dog would not want to move. It could be bored or probably be sick and this is also a reason it barks. Dogs bark to answer another bark and this is how they talk to each other and exchange words. Dogs mark their territory by barking around it and this is how they show their domination. When it comes to biting, dogs are treated by their owners to act like body guards and they are trained to bare their teeth at anything looking suspicious, so they look like they are ready to bite. A dog may bite if it gets surprised. One should not make a mistake of pulling a prank on dogs. When a dog is in pain, it may bite out of instinct just like humans so one must not mess with it during this situation. Dogs bite when they get too excited over something which may not be a serious flesh-piercing bite but it’s a bite all the same. Dogs bite in self defense and this is what they are trained to do. The fact is that it wants to protect its owner and the property. One cannot stop any dog from barking and biting but it can be of course lessened. The question is to train a dog when and where to bark and bite at the right time. If a dog’s issue is anxiety then it must be given a feeling of love. If a dog barks because of boredom, it can always be taken to a dog’s fair or park. A dog must not be intimidated as it might take it the wrong way; this will result in less biting. Dogs are subject to many emotional and psychological swings just like ordinary humans. One can never underestimate a dog’s feelings so if a dog shows signs of aggression then should be left alone for some time. If there are other problems, the best way is to get professional help by consulting a vet.
